There's a new supplement being marketed to you almost every day.

Collagen. Ashwagandha. Cortisol support. Hormone cocktails. Whatever's going viral on social media this week.

And every single one promises to fix you. Your energy. Your sleep. Your weight. Your hormones.

I think it’s smart that you're paying attention and trying to take care of yourself. And supplements are a part of that.

The marketing and people behind these brands can make them feel even more compelling. Like they’re the solution. I mean, who wants to exercise and change what you’re eating if you can just take a pill or powder?

Here's the thing though…

Most supplements on the market have a problem. Actually, three problems. Their own dirty little secrets most companies don’t want you to know.

And once you know what they are, you'll never look at supplements the same way again.

The Real Problem With Most Supplements

Imagine you’re in your kitchen about to bake a cake.

You see the recipe calls for 2 cups of flour. But what if I instead handed you a bag labeled "flour" and the flour was ½ cup flour and the rest was corn starch?

Just by looking at it, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell. But your cake wouldn't rise. It wouldn't taste right. And you'd walk away thinking you did something wrong.

This is exactly what's happening with most supplements.

The label shows magnesium. Or whey protein. Or Vitamin D.

Now technically, there’s some there.

But the amount is often a fraction of what the researchers and scientists have studied as the amount that actually helps your body.

This is called underdosing and too many companies (one study showed 89% of 57 companies) are guilty of it to save a few dollars.

This is a big problem but only one of the problems…

Problem two?

Independent testing has shown that supplements often don't even contain what the label claims. In this case, that bag of “flour” I gave you for your cake was all corn starch.

Of course, not having the ingredient you bought the supplement for is a huge problem. But it begs the next logical question of, “what is in it then?

And that leads us to problem three.

Cheap fillers and artificial ingredients usually are masked to take the place of what’s supposed to be in the bottle.

But before just now, you probably didn’t know any of these dirty little supplement secrets. So you would by the supplement, take it for a few weeks, feel nothing, and assume it just doesn't work for you.

But this was never about you or anything you did wrong.

So instead, I want to share the 5 best supplements for women like you.

The 5 Supplements That Actually Matter

When you put the millions of dollars in marketing and trends supplement companies use, there are really five supplements that are proven by research for women over 40.

1. Creatine Monohydrate

I know what you're thinking…isn't that what bodybuilders use?

It is AND some of the top menopause experts in the world like Dr Mary Claire Haver and Dr Stacey Sims are recommending for women.

First, it's one of the most researched supplements in existence. The benefits for women over 40 are:

  • Walking into a room and remembering what you went there for

  • Feeling stronger and more toned

  • Fitting into your clothes again

  • Having all-day energy

The problem with creatine is that the women who would benefit the most from it are the ones who know the least about it.

I’m changing that starting today ◡̈

2. HMB

Save this one for your next trivia night…

The full name for HMB is Beta-Hydroxy Beta-Methylbutyrate. 😆

While the name sounds like another language, here's what it does in plain English…

It helps slow down muscle loss.

After 40, and especially after menopause, your body gets better at losing muscle and strength than maintaining it. This leads to a slower metabolism, unexpected/unwanted weight gain, and feeling like you’re not in control of your body anymore.

HMB helps shift that back in your favor.

3. Vitamin D

Fortunately, testing for this on routine bloodwork has become more common over the past few years.

But even with that, most women are still deficient.

You probably know that Vitamin D plays a role in your immune system and mood but there’s one other benefit that you might not know…

It helps you maintain and build stronger bones.

This is so important because 1 in 3 women will break a bone due to osteoporosis.

Vitamin D helps to prevent this by helping your body absorb calcium. Without enough Vitamin D, the calcium you're eating or taking is mostly going to waste.

4. Vitamin K

This is Vitamin D's secret sidekick no one talks about.

Once Vitamin D helps get calcium into your body, Vitamin K acts like a traffic director…telling the calcium to go to your bones instead of your arteries.

5. Magnesium Glycinate

Magnesium has become a popular supplement because it helps with over 300+ functions of your body like:

Sleep, stress, muscle recovery, and bone health.

But not all magnesium is created equal. Some magnesium won’t do anything for you. Other forms will leave you running to the bathroom in the middle of reading this.

That’s why magnesium glycinate is always the form to look for.

Supplements Can Help, But…

Without a doubt, research shows that these 5 supplements really work.

But I'd be leaving something important out if I didn't say this:

They work best when you pair them with strength training and nourishing your body with enough protein.

Because feeling in control of your body is like turning on a light switch with a dimmer.

Strength training flips the switch from off to on. Protein turns the light from dim to full brightness. And supplements are the light bulb that help support this.

Why I'm Telling You All Of This

I’ve been coaching women for the past 10 years after being inspired by watching my mom take control of her health after dealing with chronic migraines, back pain, and rheumatoid arthritis.

While I’ve helped 500+ women to this point with exercise and nutrition, I recognized there was something missing…

A supplement.

So rather than watching my mom and these women I’ve worked with waste money on supplements that don’t work, I decided to do something about it.

I'm building a supplement called Revitalized Strength. And these five ingredients I mentioned above, creatine monohydrate, HMB, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, and magnesium glycinate, are exactly what's in it.

Every ingredient is dosed at the amount the research actually supports.

There are no fillers or artificial flavors.

Every batch will be third-party tested so what the label says is what's actually in the bottle.

The whole point of Revitalized Strength is simple…help women push back against muscle and bone loss. One of the biggest, most under-talked-about challenges you're facing. And do it with a product you can actually trust.

We're about three months out from launching. But I'll be updating you with every step of the process right here, every week, moving forward.

Which brings me to something I need your help with…

I Need Your Vote On Something

I don’t just want to build a supplement for you…guessing what you would like most.

I want to build this with you, using your direct feedback to create exactly what you want.

The flavor that won the vote is strawberry lemonade. But just calling it strawberry lemonade feels boring…

I want it to feel like something familiar. Something that takes you back in time.

So I’d love your advice to vote on which of these names feels most like that flavor to you?

Thank you for helping with this and I can’t wait to build something special together with your help ◡̈

Your friend and coach,

Ben Miknis
